Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Daily Drop is a puzzle game published by NuSpine Surgical LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game collects and why. The short version: we don't ask for your name, email, contacts, location or any account, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Information stored only on your device
Your best score, daily streak, fruit collection, sound setting, generated player name and past daily results are saved on your phone. They never leave the device and are removed when you delete the app.
Information sent to our leaderboard
When you finish the Daily board, your result is posted to that day's public leaderboard so everyone who played the same board can compare scores. The entry contains:
| Data | Example | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID | A random string created by Firebase Authentication | Keeps one entry per player per day and marks your row as "You" |
| Player name | "Zesty Plum 417", generated from a fixed word list | Shown on the leaderboard. You cannot type a name, so no personal text is ever collected |
| Game result | Score, fruit merge chain, medal, best combo | Ranking and display |
| Time of submission | Server timestamp | Ordering and data integrity |
The anonymous ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, Apple ID, Google account or advertising identifier. Practice games are never sent anywhere.
Service providers
The leaderboard runs on Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which processes this data on our behalf. See Firebase privacy and security. Like any internet service, Google's servers receive your device's IP address when the game connects; we do not store it or use it to identify you.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
- No analytics SDKs, no contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location access.
Children
Daily Drop is a general-audience game. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Retention and deletion
Leaderboard entries are kept to show past daily boards and may be removed at any time. To delete your entries, email us with your in-game player name (shown on the Ranks screen) and we will remove them. Deleting the app erases everything stored on your device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access or delete data about you. Because we only hold an anonymous ID and game results, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to email us your in-game player name.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
